"Discover the Magic of Laughter! 😄✨ Share the hilarity and spread the joy"

Instead of my usual writing and editing while traveling today I embarked on an audacious odyssey of laughter. My sweet husband, a connoisseur of comedy, if you ask him, suggested I watch a new show on Netflix that he’d been enjoying.

Like breathing, I can take laughing, that innate social behavior that conveys feelings of safety, playfulness, and bonding for granted. Thankfully, it's part of my Living Blueprint and built into my everyday routine. As I sat in my tiny airplane seat the comedy unfurled. Laughter erupted from my belly over and over again bringing me to tears and making my sides ache.

Did you know that the average 4-year-old laughs 300 times a day and the average 40-year-old, only four? (You’re Not Laughing Enough, and That’s No Joke, 2011)

And, that laughing allows for better learning experiences because it captures attention and promotes relaxation, reducing anxiety, enhancing motivation, and positively affecting physiology.

Not only that, but humor strengthens relationships between students and teachers, increasing interactions and benefiting introverted students. I could've used that in school, what about you? (Savage et al., 2017b) Even today, babies start laughing before they can speak, showing its primal and instinctive nature.

Enjoy these one liners by yourself or with a friend. End with a smile! 😄🧘‍♂️🤣

  • Why don't scientists trust atoms? Because they make up everything!

  • My wife accused me of being immature. I told her to get out of my fort.

  • Why did the scarecrow win an award? Because he was outstanding in his field!

  • I told my wife she was drawing her eyebrows too high. She looked surprised.

  • Why don't skeletons fight each other? They don't have the guts!

  • I used to play piano by ear, but now I use my hands.

  • The early bird might get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese!

  • What do you call fake spaghetti? An impasta!

Laughing is a powerful universal language that connects us, brings joy, and improves our physical and emotional well-being. Lets get laughing! 🤣💕
